HOWL ABOUT THAT?
You chance to see and hear [a]Lupine Howl[/a]
Lupine Howl, the band formed by the three members of Spiritualized sacked last year, release their debut single 'Vaporizer' on January 10 through Vinyl Hiss - and you can hear it and see the video of nme.com's Single Of The Week here first.
The band, who feature Sean Cook on bass and vocals,Damon Reece on drums and percussion, have also announced their debut live date proper at the London Highbury Garage on February 17.
Previously, the band have only made a low-key appearance at last year's Ochre records all-day festival in Gloucester.
They will also make a guest appearance on MASSIVE ATTACK'S forthcoming album, due out late summer, after recording more than 20 hours of material with the Bristol-based outfit.
Lupine Howl themselves release their own, as yet untitled album, later this year.
A spokesperson for the band described the rest of the Howl's material as "spiritualized, psychedelic soul, married to a Spencer Davies back beat and a Memphis soul band attitude." To hear Lupine Howl's debut single 'Vaporizer' in full, click here.
