MØ says she wants to collaborate with Grimes and Tyler The Creator

The Danish musician released her debut album 'No Mythologies to Follow' in March 2014

Danish electropop musician MØ has discussed her dream collaborations in a new interview.

The singer, real name Karen Marie Ørsted, released her debut album, ‘No Mythologies to Follow’ in March 2014. It featured the Diplo collaboration ‘XXX 88’. MØ has since worked with the likes of Iggy Azalea, Major Lazer and Elliphant.

Speaking in an interview with Billboard at this weekend’s Governors Ball festival in New York, Ørsted listed Grimes and Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator among her wishlist of collaborators.

“Obviously there’s so many great artists out there that I’d love to work with,” she said. “I would really like to work with Grimes, because she’s just so badass that I want to die. Cashmere Cat [Norwegian producer], Tyler The Creator, there’s many [others].”

MØ also talked about how she works on new music. “The songs I write are about how I feel and the vibe I’m in,” she explained. “So whether I’m on a tour or at home it’s like all about how you feel in the certain time you sit down. Sometimes I like to write the lyrics while I’m on the road, because then you get even more melancholy… you get very inspired on tour.
