Californian metallers get set to follow-up 'The Blackening'

Machine Head will enter the studio this weekend (April 16) to begin recording their new album.

The forthcoming release is the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2007's 'The Blackening' and will be recorded at Green Day's Jingletown Studios in Oakland.

The band have been in writing mode since November 2010, preparing songs for pre-production.
