MACY GRAY will be recording a secret live show in LONDON this weekend (August 25) to coincide with the release of new single 'SWEET BABY' - and you can be there.
Gray will be performing at a location in Waterloo and fans can book their free tickets by emailing here. Guests need to be over 16, but only the first 50 who respond will get in. The show will be broadcast later on national television.
'Sweet Baby', featuring Erykah Badu, will be released on September 3. It is the first track lifted from forthcoming album 'The Id'. The album, due for release on September 17 also includes collaborations with Mos Def and Angie Stone, amongst others.
In other Macy Gray news, the star has admitted frequently using cannabis, but says she has a problem with fans following her when she goes out to buy it. Speaking to US magazine Details, Gray said, "I got tagged. People started taking pictures and breaking out their video cameras. Then people are jumping in the car reaching in trying to grab my hat and the driver was an idiot. He wouldn't move the car.
"I'm a big fan of being out of your mind sometimes. You can have a lot of revelations," she added.
