MADONNA won a host of awards in HOLLYWOOD last night (March 23) - including WORST ACTRESS and WORST SUPPORTING ACTRESS.
Madge and husband, film director Guy Ritchie, swept the board at the Razzies, the annual spoof of The Oscars, which awards Hollywood’s underachievers.
Ritchie’s's island romance ‘Swept Away’, starring Madonna, took five awards, including Worst Picture of 2002.
She tied for worst actress withBritney Spears, who made her cinematic debut in chick road movie ‘Crossroads’.
Ritchie
was also named as Worst Director, while ‘Swept Away’ earned Madonna a second award for Worst Screen Couple with her co-star Adriano Giannini.
Madonna was also named Worst Actress for her short role in the James Bond movie 'Die Another Day'.
Madonna's new album 'American Life', the follow-up to 2000's 'Music', is released on April 21.
