Madonna ended a 20 year wait for Irish fans last night (August 29) when she appeared at Slane Castle in the Republic Of Ireland.
The star delighted 80,000 fans as she emerged through the stage floor for the show.
The first female ever to headline the historic Slane event – which in the past has seen Red Hot Chili Peppers, Robbie Williams and U2 play – opened her set with ‘Vogue’. The 46-year-old mother of two appeared in a sparkling silver corset, thigh-high boots and black hot pants. She worked through a greatest hits set.
