'Licorice' will reportedly be released in April

Madonna has called her new album ‘Licorice’ and it will be released in late April.

The record will be the superstar’s eleventh studio album, and is the follow up to 2005’s ‘Confessions On A Dancefloor’, according to Sirius Satellite Radio host Larry Flick.

Reports suggest that the album will be a dance record with a hip-hop edge, reflected by Madonna’s collaborations with Kanye West and Pharrell Williams which will appear on the album.

Two songs entitled ‘Candy Shop’ and ‘The Beat Goes On’ were leaked online earlier this year.

The album is her last record to be released with current label Warner Brothers. She recently sealed a deal with Live Nation offshoot Artist Nation.
