'Hard Candy' material available to mobile customers now

Madonna is making all-new tracks available to mobile phone customers exclusively ahead of release this week.

The pop veteran's 11th LP 'Hard Candy' is out on Monday (April 28), but Vodafone users are able to get their hands on tracks right now.

All this week, a track is being made available online each day to users of the network. Each track is available for download at a cost of 49p for 24 hours, before being replaced with the next one.

Today's track is Timbaland collaboration - 'Miles Away' - followed tomorrow by Pharrell Williams hook-up 'Give It 2 Me'.

'Hard Candy' has seen Madonna take a surprise urban direction, working with some of the biggest names in hip-hop for the first time.

Lead single '4 Minutes' is currently the UK's Number One single.

quote "working with some of the biggest names in hip-hop for the first time"Oh, hello! She's worked with Dallas Austin and Babyface back in the 90's, massive Hip Hop/R&B producers, for Bedtime Stories. And Justify my Love is pure Public Enemy hip hop beats.

I love what I've heard so far (which isn't much, because Warner took them off Youtube so damned quick!). I wasn't looking forward to it that much (I'm not into the urban thing) but it's looking good, at this stage. I read a great review at www.aarondarc.com who seems more on the pulse than many of the usual drab reviews I've come across from reviewers who are clearly too old! Bring it on, Madge!
