Singer to kick off with UK shows

Madonna has announced that her 'Sticky And Sweet' world tour will begin in Cardiff this August.

The singer, whose latest album 'Hard Candy' went straight to Number One, will be touring throughout Europe this summer and autumn.

So far Madonna has confirmed she will kick the tour off with the following dates:

Cardiff Millennium Stadium (August 23)
London Wembley Stadium (September 11)

Meanwhile, Madonna is due to play Radio 1's free Big Weekend festival in Maidstone, Kent this week (May 10).

surprise, big star chooses big venues, why don't these so called megastars do a tour of the countries academies where a few hundred can see them? obviously all about money, why let a thousand in paying £30 when u can have 50,000 paying £60, don't they have enough money? don't lie to us and say its so more fans can see them, play more dates... there will probably be a half dozen shows at most, do a proper tour Madonna
