Madonna fined £135,000 for overrunning Wembley show Madonna Tickets
Madge has to stump up for being 40 minutes late
Madonna has been fined £135,000 by Wembley Stadium for overrunning while performing at the venue earlier this month.
The singer finished 40 minutes later than planned at her gig at the London venue on September 11 after taking the stage late, and was charged £50,000 for every 15 minutes she exceeded past the curfew by venue authorities.
The late finish at the gig, part of Madonna's Sticky And Sweet Tour, reportedly caused a number of traffic problems for some gig-goers.
According to The Sun, George Michael was fined nearly £130,000 when his Wembley gig also overran in 2007.
