Paparazzo accuses Madonna of lying about horse accident
The singer was hospitalised after being thrown from her horse
Madonna's spokesperson Liz Rosenberg accused paparazzi of startling the singer's horse when they "jumped out of the bushes" to photograph her.
However, freelance photographer Thomas Hinton - who says he was the only photographer at the scene - denies being there when the accident happened.
"I arrived more than 10 minutes after she fell, and I was shooting from the street," Hinton said. "I don't know what [Rosenberg] is talking about."
Hinton admitted that he also took some shots before Madonna fell from the horse. He says he only returned to the scene after being tipped off that Madonna had been in an accident, reports NYDailynews.
Speaking to TMZ, Hinton again claimed his innocence.
"If I had startled the horse, I would have gotten pictures!" he reasoned.
Madonna received minor injuries from the fall, and was released from hospital on the same day.
