Collapsed Madonna stage kills one, reports say

French stadium workers are rushed to the hospital

A stage being built for an upcoming Madonna show in Marseille, France, has collapsed.

The accident has reportedly left one person dead and six injured.

The stage was being constructed at the Stade Velodrome stadium, and fell apart on top of several workers in the French port city, reports the Associated Press.

The identities of the injured and dead workers have not yet been revealed, and the cause of the collapse has not yet been determined. The injured parties have been rushed to local hospitals.

Madonna's show is set to take place on Sunday (July 19) as part of her 'Sticky Sweet' world tour.
