Madonna to release new single and hits compilation

Star set for double 'Celebration' soon

Madonna is set to release a new single later this summer - followed by a new greatest hits compilation.

The single, 'Celebration', is one of two new songs that will feature on the compilation, and will be released on August 3.

The compilation, also named 'Celebration', will be released on September 28. The tracklisting was chosen by the star herself with some input from her fans who voted on her website. Songs confirmed for inclusion are 'Everybody', '4 Minutes', 'Express Yourself' and 'Vogue'.

The 'Celebration' single was co-produced by Madonna and Paul Oakenfold.

The album will be available as both a one-disc and two-disc version, with a DVD set to be released simultaneously, featuring videos from her career, including some promos never made available on the format before.

To celebrate her latest release, and keep her best, Madonna has continued on her quest for physical perfection by having a large useless physical growth removed from her labia: Guy Richie is now a batchelor again!

Oh dear Madge - struggling to stay relevant again? Time for yet another greatest hits package to remind everyone that you used to be good. Seriously, even a dog knows when it's time to roll over.
