Madonna keeps Muse and Dizzee Rascal off album chart top spot

Plus Taio Cruz holds onto singles chart peak position

Madonna keeps Muse and Dizzee Rascal off album chart top spot
Madonna kept Muse and Dizzee Rascal off the top of the UK albums chart today (September 27).

Her new compilation 'Celebration' knocked Muse's 'The Resistance' from the peak of the chart, while Dizzee's album 'Tongue 'N' Cheek' went in at Number Three.

In the singles stakes Taio Cruz held on to the top spot with 'Break Your Heart'. Jay-Z featured in the Top Ten twice, with 'Empire State Of Mind', his song with Alicia Keys, in at Three and 'Run This Town' at Five.

Richard Hawley went in at Number 17 in the albums chart with his new effort, 'Truelove's Gutter'.

The UK Top Ten singles are:

1. Taio Cruz – 'Break Your Heart'
2. David Guetta Ft Akon – 'Sexy Chick'
3. Jay-Z featuring Alicia Keys – Empire State Of Mind
4. Shakira – 'She Wolf'
5. Jay-Z Ft Rihanna & Kanye West – 'Run This Town'
6. Black Eyed Peas – 'I Gotta Feeling'
7. Pixie Lott – 'Boys & Girls'
8. Madonna – 'Celebration'
9. Dizzee Rascal – 'Holiday'
10. Mini Viva – 'Left My Heart In Tokyo'
