Madonna's neighbour sues her over loud music

The woman who lives above Madonna has filed a complaint to the New York State Supreme Court about excessive noise coming from the singer's apartment.

Madonna moved into the Manhattan flat, which overlooks Central Park, after splitting from her film director husband, Guy Ritchie, last year.

Karen George, who lives in the flat above Madonna's seventh floor residence, is now suing the company who manage the building after failing to do anything about her previous complaints, reports BBC News.

George has revealed that she now has to leave the building when Madonna rehearses because of the noise and vibrations which come through the building's walls are "unbearable".

She first complained about the loud music, dancing and training a year ago, but has said that nothing has been done about the matter.
