Madonna flashed during her Friday night (June 8) gig in Istanbul.

The singer – who had the words 'No Fear' etched on her back - was performing a striptease during her song 'Human Nature' when she pulled down her bra and flashed the crowd one of her nipples. Scroll down to watch a video of the incident.

Madonna is currently on the 'MDNA' world tour and also courted controversy on the road after placing an image of a swastika on a picture of French National Front leader Marine Le Pen during her show last week in Tel Aviv.

She has since been threatened with the prospect of legal action by Le Pen. The swastika featured upon Le Pen's forehead and the image was projected onto large screens during the song 'Nobody Knows Me', much to the consternation of the politician. Le Pen has said that if the incident is repeated when Madonna's tour arrives in France in July, she will sue.

"We understand how old singers who need to get people talking about them go to such extremes," said Le Pen via The Daily Mail. When she was asked if she would sue Madonna, Le Pen replied: "If she does that in France, we'll be waiting".

Madonna plays London's Hyde Park on July 17.
