MADONNA'S NO TO COLOGNE
Two dates of the 'Drowned' world tour in Germany are cancelled, due to "technical problems"...
MADONNA has pulled the first dates of her DROWNED WORLD tour because of "technical problems".
Two shows due to take place at the Cologne Arena on June 5 and 6 will now not take place. Both are already sold-out.
As a result, Madonna's tour will commence in Barcelona on June 9.
Madonna's manager said in a statement: "Madonna is so sorry to disappoint all her fans in Cologne, but due to technical problems, the show will not be ready until the scheduled Barcelona date."
A UK spokesperson for Madonna was unavailable for comment this afternoon (May 4). However, her shows at London Earl's Court, due to start on July 4, will not be affected.
