Kele Okereke favourites headline New York party

Mahogany set for Club NME New York

Fresh from a tour of Peru, Mahogany are set to headline Club NME New York City with Fred Perry Subculture this Thursday (June 14) at The Annex.

The Brooklyn buzz-band opened for Bloc Party on their recent UK tour, managing to give Kele and co a run for their money with their fuzzy pop space age hooks.

The band’s third record ’Connectivity!’ is set for release in Europe on Track and Field Records, having come out late last year in the US via Darla Records.

Claire Records will be releasing a vinyl version of ‘Connectivity!’ as well as a 12inch with remixes by Ulrich Schnauss and Dave Pianka (Making Time/ Rvng Intl. )

Opening will be fellow New York pop-electro act Monocle.

Club NME New York City with Fred Perry Subculture takes place Thursdays at Annex, 142 Orchard Street, New York.
