The tour hits the UK in May for dates in Sheffield, Oxford, Bristol and London
Major Lazer have announced a world tour in support of new album 'Free The Universe'.
The Diplo-led project will be joined on selected US dates by rapper Angel Haze. Canadian electro-pop group Dragonette and DJ/producer Lunice will also make appearances on the tour, but the UK support act has yet to be announced.
The 34-date trek will kick off in Toronto, Canada on February 28, before moving through the US and Europe. The tour will arrive in the UK in May for dates in Sheffield (May 1), Oxford (May 2), London (May 3) and Bristol (May 4).
Major Lazer's new album 'Free The Universe' will be released shortly before the tour begins on February 18. As revealed last month (December 2012), the album will feature collaborations with a wide variety of guest artists, including Santigold, Shaggy and Danielle Haim from Haim.
The album is being trailed by the single 'Jah No Partial', a collaboration with dubstep star Flux Pavilion. Scroll down and click 'play' to watch the video.
