Manics pen song for The June Brides
The Welsh trio offer up their own version of 'The Instrumental'
Manic Street Preachers have penned a song for a tribute album dedicated to former 80s pop band The June Brides.
The Welsh trio have contributed their own rendition of the 'The Instrumental' to the 16-track record 'Still Unravished'.
The June Brides enjoyed a brief career between 1984-1986, releasing four singles and one album - 'There Are Eight Million Stories'.
Despite their demise, the Eighties pop band attracted interest from former singer Morrissey and later proved to be a major inspiration on the likes of the Manic Street Preachers and Belle & Sebastian.
