Manic Street Preachers have gone to Number Two the charts tonight (May 6).
The track 'Your Love Alone Is Not Enough'- a duet with Nina Persson from The Cardigans- entered the chart at Number 26 on downloads last week. But The Manics failed to dislodge Beyonce and Shakira’s ’Beautiful Liar’ from the top spot.
Funeral For A Friend entered at Number 39 with ’Into Oblivion’ (Funeral)’. Jamie T entered at Number 34 with the re-released ’Shelia’. However, the highest new entry came from Hellogoodbye who entered at Number 10 with 'Here (In Your Arms)'.
Meanwhile on the album chart The Arctic Monkeys have held onto the top spot for a second week with ’Favourite Worst Nightmare’.
The UK top 10 singles are:
