Manic Street Preachers have posted the video of their new single 'This Is The Day' online.

The track is a cover of the 1983 track by The The and features on their forthcoming compilation 'National Treasures – The Complete Singles'. The clip, which you can watch by scrolling down and clicking below, shows footage of the band throughout their career.

The band's second 'Best Of' collection brings together 38 tracks in order to celebrate 21 years since the band's first single release, 'Motown Junk', which was put out in 1991 by Heavenly Recordings.

Songs from all of the band's 10 albums will feature on the new album, including tracks from their most recent effort, 2010's 'Postcards From A Young Man'.

The band are set to play all 38 singles from their compilation at a one off show at London's O2 Arena on December 17. They have indicated that 'National Treasures' will be their last activity for at least two years.
