US TV personality Nick Cannon says he and wife Mariah Carey have sex to the sound of Carey's music – and that he occasionally masturbates to her warbling hits when she's not around.

The revelation came on Howard Stern's radio show yesterday (December 11). Stern asks, "You've admitted to me that you make love to Mariah's music and that you masturbate to her music." Cannon, a regular guest of the 'shock-jock' replies, "Absolutely, when she's not there… I don't light candles, but sometimes you have to be reminded of what's at home."

Cannon reports that Carey's 1993 hit 'Hero' is most likely to get him in the mood. You can hear the full interview by clicking the link below.

US President Barack Obama was recently asked to comment on the drawn-out infighting between Mariah Carey and her fellow American Idol judge Nicki Minaj.

Obama told a radio interviewer:

I think that they are going to be able to sort it out… I am confident. I'm all about bringing people together, working for the same cause. I think both outstanding artists are going to be able to make sure that they're moving forward and not going backwards.

Obama was asked who his favourite of the two was, and chose Carey, saying: "Mariah. She's actually done some events for us. I've gotten to know her and Nick [Cannon, husband]. She's a wonderful lady."
