MARILYN MANSON is set to provide the score for a remake of 'THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE'.

Manson has been involved in various film roles in the last few years, most recently Tony Scott's 'Beat the Devil', which also featured soul legend James Brown.

Now, MTV reports that Manson will compose the background music for a remake of the 1974 Tobe Hooper film 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. The new version was started in July this year, produced by director Michael Bay.

Manson's new studio album, 'The Golden Age Of Grotesque' is released next year.
