Marilyn Manson names new album
Shock rocker to release first new album for four years
Marilyn Manson has announced that his new album will be titled ’Eat Me, Drink Me’.
It will be his first new album since 2003’s ’The Golden Age Of The
Grotesque’.
Posting on his official website Marilynmanson.com, the star said that that work was "nearly completed" on the album.
The post added that the band were due to launch a world tour to coincide with the album’s release, though no release date is confirmed yet.
The title, a reference to the cakes and drink consumed by Alice in ’Alice In Wonderland’, is linked to Manson’s directorial debut as a film director on ’Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll’, which he is currently filming.
It is set to star Manson himself, plus Tilda Swinton and Lily Cole.
