Marilyn Manson banned from cathedral
Singer blames his lipstick for ecclesiastical trouble
Marilyn Manson has been denied entry into a cathedral in Cologne.
The singer claims that it was due to the fact he was wearing lipstick.
He said: “Unfortunately they didn’t let me in, probably because I was wearing lipstick.”
Manson was in the German city as part of his European tour.
He is set to begin a co-headlining tour with Slayer on July 25 in the US at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre in Florida.
His art exhibit recently opened in Koln at the Brigitte Schenk gallery and will continue until July 28, reports Blabbermouth.
