Manson to sign new acts to Posthuman...

Marilyn Manson has a new record label POSTHUMAN RECORDS which is part of the huge American rap label PRIORITY RECORDS - the company that launched the career of NWA.

Manson follows fellow metal star Ozzy Osbourne into joining the Priority Records fold - in February, Ozzy's Divine Recordings also merged.

The singer will still release his material on the Nothing/Interscope label but aims to sign new acts up to Posthuman.

Manson revealed the news on his official website last week and also announced he's in the final stages of recording his new album 'Holy Wood (In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death) '. Fans can now download a silent movie documenting the recording process of the album.

Manson says: "I am writing to you from within the studio where we are completing the final stages of our recordings.

"I have prepared a silent film documenting our environment for your viewing. I would also like to announce that my new record label is in fact called POSTHUMAN RECORDS and its parent company is Priority Records."

The singer also ended speculation that a Marilyn Manson cover version of The Doors' '5 To 1' would be appearing on a planned Doors tribute album.
