Marilyn Manson gig halted due to fire scare
Shock rocker's dry ice machines trigger alarm
A Marilyn Manson gig was halted on Wednesday night (October 3) after a suspected fire.
The show, which took place in New Zealand’s Auckland Town Hall, was evacuated after four songs.
Security at the venue immediately put a stop to the gig and called for the audience to leave. Although fire-fighters and an ambulance crew were called, it was only a precautionary measure.
The alarm is thought to have been raised after excessive smoke was released from dry ice machines.
Despite the scare, the gig was allowed to continue after a 10-minute interlude, reports Blabbermouth.
