More acts added to 2009 festival bill

Marilyn Manson and ZZ Top have been added to the 2009 Download Festival line-up.

Killswitch Engage are also a new addition to a bill that already features the likes of Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, The Prodigy and Motley Crue,

Yesterday (February 20) Anvil claimed they too would be playing Download this year.

Download is pretty much for the bands that can't play anywhere else. I'm pretty much sure that Slipknot have played there every year since i've been aware of it. Also, I think most genuine metal fans have started going to festivals in Europe and especially Germany because they get the better line ups.

Is it me or does the line up now fall into two camps....the *I dont wanna be anywhere near the stage when they are on* and *cool........ they playing? wicked!!!!*????

Not such a bad line up.If I can't get a Reading Ticket this year I will contemplating on going to Download or Sonisphere... hmm?
