Marilyn Manson 'hasn't got swine flu'
His concert promoters have said the rocker hasn't got H1N1
Marilyn Manson's concert promoters Live Nation have announced that despite the rocker revealing he "had swine flu", he actually hasn't.
As reported last, week Manson wrote on his Facebook that he had been 'Officially diagnosed' with the virus.
"So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU." Manson wrote.
"I know everyone will suggest that fucking a pig is how this disease was obtained. However, the doctor said, my past choices in women have, in 'no way' contributed to... me acquiring this mysterious sickness. Unfortunately, I am going to survive. M."
However, now promoters for Manson's forthcoming Canadian tour have denied the rocker has contracted the illness.
"The Gillett Entertainment Group and Live Nation confirmed today that contrary to rumours circulating, Marilyn Manson is not suffering from swine flu," the statement said.
Manson's online posts which said he had the virus have now been removed.
