Marilyn Manson to star in Hollywood slasher flick 'Splatter Sisters'
Shock-rocker is set to team up with fiancee Evan Rachel Wood
Marilyn Manson is set to star in a Hollywood retro-slasher movie.
The shock-rocker is to appear in the film Splatter Sisters alongside his fiancee Evan Rachel Wood.
It is the first in a planned franchise of sexploitation-serial-killer-slasher-road-movies inspired by horror classics in the 1980s.
Filmmaker David Gordon Green, who is currently producing Oliver Stone's long awaited Wall Street sequel, revealed the project at Cannes, reports Variety.
"This is a role Marilyn Manson was born to play and, with Evan Rachel Wood bringing dramatic gravity to the ensemble, I have no doubt this will take the horror genre to a new level," Green said.
Manson is a huge horror movie fan and he has been working on his own long-awaited project 'Phantasmagoria: The Visions Of Lewis Carroll' with his fiancee since 2007.
