Marilyn Manson makes make-up free appearance in 'Eastbound & Down' – watch

US rock star plays role of rollerskating waiter on HBO comedy

Footage of Marilyn Manson's cameo appearance in US TV show Eastbound & Down has been revealed. See above to watch the make up free singer acting now.

Looking very different to his onstage appearance, Manson appears opposite Danny McBride (who plays the character of Kenny Powers in the HBO show) as a waiter in a restaurant called Jellybeans. The brief, 21-second cameo, comes in the fourth and final series of the US show and was aired in America last night (November 5).

Earlier this year it was reported that Manson has landed a guest voice role on US fairy tale drama series Once Upon A Time. The goth-rocker will provide the voice of the Shadow, a character based on the shadow of Peter Pan from the classic stories by JM Barrie. Manson's Shadow will be a darker take on the character and will have a fondness for kidnapping and soul-stealing.

Manson will make his first appearance as the Shadow in episode eight of Once Upon A Time's third season, which is set to air on US network ABC in mid-November. In the UK, Once Upon A Time is shown on Channel 5 and season three is expected to kick off in spring 2014.

Manson – real name Brian Hugh Warner – has racked up a handful of acting credits over the years, including a small role in David Lynch's 1997 film Lost Highway and an appearance as himself on David Duchovny's US series Californication earlier this year (2013). He released his last album, 'Born Villain', in May 2012.
