Mark Ronson has been added to the first East Village Radio Festival, taking place September 6 in New York City.

The festival, which will be hosted by KRS-One will feature performances by Boris, Flying Lotus, High Places, Devin the Dude, Awesome Color, Vivian Girls, Dr. Lonnie Smith, The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, and Ólöf Arnalds, as well as John Oliver of The Daily Show.

Ronson is a longtime DJ at the station, and continues to fulfill his weekly slot when his schedule allows.

The festival is being staged to celebrate East Village Radio’s fifth anniversary, and will kick off at 1pm at Pier 17 at South Street Seaport.

Also set to take place at the site is visual imagery compiled by Anthology Film Archives, screening works from its collection of avant-garde filmmakers in a space called ‘On-the-Side” @ Seaport’.

The radio station is located on First Avenue in New York, with DJs working their shifts in a small storefront. Owned by the man behind East Village restaurants Lil’ Frankies, Frank, and Supper, the catering at the festival will be provided by sister company Frank Caters who will offer a menu of special grilled items along with other dishes chosen solely for the festival.

A shuttle bus will run from the station to the festival from 12.30pm to 7pm on the day.
