Mark Ronson names his 100 favourite bands for Kaiser Chiefs

Kaisers feature in it along with T-Rex, Jamie T and Blur

Kaiser Chiefs have made public a list of Mark Ronson's 99 favourite bands and artists.

As part of their takeover of the Guardian's website, the Leeds band originally asked Ronson, producer of their recent 'Off With Their Heads' album, to compile a list featuring 100 artists, but he chose to leave one place available for a future band.

Ronson says he chose not to compile the list numerically, as that would "falsely bestow some sort of order on it," reports The Guardian.

I notice the distinct lack of Oasis in that list... Hmmmm... Could that perhaps be anything to with the fact that Noel publicly slated him in Radio 1 that time? And who the fuck is Mr. Ronson to cast his opinion onto the masses anyway? I wouldn't say the guy's talentless, but he is a complete arse bandit.

He should compile a list of his favourite covers bands instead. Thats more up his street. Who gives a shit what this talentless no mark thinks anyway. I realise by posting this it would suggest i give a shit but i had to comment on this waste of space who destroys other peoples music for a living.

Who gives a fuck what Mark Ronson thinks, but the fact that Kaiser Chiefs determine this as news is a total joke. He doesnt even like Muse, what a loser!

sinsybinsy- Who is he to cast his opinion to the masses? Well he didn't, did he? He told the Kaiser Chiefs and they published it. It must be terrible in your world not allowing people to have an independent mind and think for themselves. You are you to voice your opinion on this website? Anyway, why is Stevie Wonder on there twice?

Well, I'm going to combine the enforcer's marvellous point with what Jamesyp has noticed (should I be worried or impressed?) and assume that he meant to put Muse. Reasonable assumption I think.

Very... average, nothing surprising. But what I find funnier is the people slagging off his taste in music, and saying he's talentless.

Brazilian correction to Ronson: Actually, Tom Jobim & Elis Regina are two different singers that recorded one album together and nothing more. It was the same as put Freddie Mercury & Montserrat Caballé or Jack White & Alicia Keys together a list of best artists ;)
