Members of The Kills and The Drums to guest appear on Mark Ronson's new ballet
Producer also admits he's nervous about the show's impending London debut
The piece, which is due to premiere on April 5 as part of a triple bill that will feature six performances at the Royal Opera House, will see guest appearances from The Kills' Alison Mosshart The Drums frontman Jonathan Pierce, Boy George and rapper Wale.
They all provide lyrics and vocals to the tracks and Ronson says each artist put their own individual stamps on the songs.
He told The Independent: "Some of Alison's pieces are these wild, unruly passion, love letters put into song and some of Jonny's lyrics look at how love can be this incredibly pure thing that's just an extension of nature.
''And Wale talks in a more contemporary sense of how sometimes you're just trying to get a girl home and all the things you say, all the bullshit you'll spout, to try and accomplish that."
Ronson teamed up with songwriter Andrew Wyatt, frontman of Miike Snow, to create nine songs for the production.
The producer also admitted that he is nervous about the forthcoming performance.
He added: ''We're going to have to rehearse this to death to make sure it goes off without a hitch. If we're on stage at the Forum or something and something goes out, that's kind of all right... but you can't do that at the Royal Opera House.''
