Singer to accompany ballet 'The Seven Deadly Sins'

Martha Wainwright has announced she is to perform alongside The Royal Ballet at London Royal Opera House.

The triple bill evening of song and dance, which runs from April 26 through to May 9, will feature the production The Seven Deadly Sins.

Wainwright who will accompany the dance live onstage, singing German musician Kurt Weill’s composition.

The news follows her announcement that she will be performing at Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee alongside The White Stripes and The Flaming Lips.

The event takes place from June 14-17.
