Massive Attack mainman 3D and Hollywood actress Scarlett Johanson have teamed up to record a cover of George Gershwin's classic 'Summertime'. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to listen to the track.
The track, which Johannson originally covered on the 2006 compilation 'Unexpected Dreams – Songs From the Stars', has been produced by 3D [pictured far right] and DFA Records co-founder Tim Goldsworthy.
'Summertime' is taken from the soundtrack to director Everardo Valerio Gout's upcoming Spanish-language thriller Days Of Grace. The film is due for release in July in the UK and stars Carlos Bardem, younger brother of Javier Bardem.
Other artists on the soundtrack include Nick Cave and regular collaborator Warren Ellis, who feature on a number of tracks, and Trent Reznor's soundtrack collaborator Atticus Ross, who has worked with Japanese composer Shigeru Umebayashi.
You can watch the trailer for the film by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking. Johannson released a joint album with songwriter Pete Yorn in 2009, which was titled 'Break Up'.
