Massive Attack have announced that they’re offering fans from their hometown of Bristol free lifts to their London show.

The band headline one of this summer's Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park shows on July 1 ahead of their massive homecoming show at Bristol Downs on September 3.

With tickets for the latter show selling out in under an hour, the group are arranging a "fleet of buses" for their fans' journey to the London gig. Find more details on the offer here.

"We won’t be adding another date in Bristol this summer, but we don’t want people to pay touts over the odds," the band said in a statement.

"The unbelievable demand from Bristol meant that we looked for a way to help everyone to see us this summer. So we’re arranging for a fleet of buses to take people from Bristol to our show in London’s Hyde Park... at no extra charge. It’ll be great to have some of our fellow Bristolians up in London with us."

Warpaint, Patti Smith, TV on the Radio and Ghostpoet are supporting Massive Attack at Hyde Park, with more to be announced.

Massive Attack play Bristol Downs on September 3, with Primal Scream and Skepta confirmed as support for the all-dayer.
