Mastodon man suffers serious head injury after Foo Fighters collaboration
But the cause of Brent Hinds' VMAs injury remains a mystery
Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds suffered a severe head injury after his performance on Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.
Hinds had performed ‘Colony Of Birchman’ with Foo Fighters as they played a suite at the Palms Casino Resort throughout the ceremony, welcoming additional guests including Lemmy from Motorhead, Cee-Lo and Josh Homme.
Hinds is reportedly receiving treatment in a Las Vegas hospital as a result of his injury.
Emails enquiring as to the cause of Hinds’ injury were not immediately returned by the band’s publicist.
