Maximo Park have started recording their second album.

The band are currently working on the follow up to 2005's 'A Certain Trigger' in London with Foo Fighters and Pixies producer Gil Norton.

Songs under consideration for their second LP include 'Nosebleed', 'Rosemary' and 'By The Monument'.

The band have also been confirmed as the main support act for The Rolling Stones' 'A Bigger Bang' tour in Norway and Denmark next month.

They will join the veteran rockers for their dates at Bergen Koengen on September 1 and Horsens Forum two days later.
