Maximo Park headline Evolution 07
Band play Newcastle festival in May
Maximo Park have been announced as the headliners of Evolution 07.
The festival will take place at Newcastle's Gateshead Quayside on May 28.
The free event will be a homecoming for the band. Speaking about the event frontman Paul Smith said: “We’re really pleased to be headlining this year’s Evolution Festival, playing on our home turf to fans that have aupported us from the outset is always a pleasure.”
The band will release their second album ’Our Earthly Pleasure’ on April 2, proceeded by the single ’Our Velocity’ on March 19.
The rest of the Evolution 07 line-up has yet to be announced.
