Maximo Park secure US release

Maximo Park have announced the US release date for their forthcoming album.

'Our Earthly Pleasures' will hit Stateside on May 8 via Warp Records. The follow-up to their 2005 debut 'A Certain Trigger' will be released in the UK on April 2, as previously announced.

The American version of the album will include two bonus tracks, 'Pride Before a Fall' and 'Distance Makes', reports Pitchfork.

The two tracks will also be released as B-sides to the album's first single, 'Our Velocity', which comes out March 19 and is currently streaming from the band's MySpace page.

Maximo Park recently headlined a sold-out Shockwaves NME Awards show where they previewed several tracks from the new album. In the coming months they have several dates lined up throughout Europe and the UK, as well as one in Japan.
