Maximo Park name new album - exclusive

Maximo Park have named their new album 'Quicken The Heart'.

The follow up to 2007's 'Our Earthly Pleasures' was recorded by the band in Los Angeles with Nick Launay, who has also recently produced Yeah Yeah Yeahs' new album 'Its Blitz!' and is set to work on The Cribs' next record.

Maximo Park are set to release the 12-track LP this May.

The band are also on tour throughout the UK in May, playing at the following venues:

Newcastle Academy (May 13, 14)
Glasgow Academy (15)
Liverpool University (16)
Southampton Guildhall (18)
Birmingham Academy (19)
Nottingham Rock City (20)
Leeds Academy (22)
