Maximo Park played a storming set at T In The Park this evening (July 10) to a vast crowd.

The Newcastle band were in fine form throughout, with frontman Paul Smith putting in typically ebullient performance, scissor-kicking his way through a show that included a huge singalong to fan-favourite 'Our Velocity' as well as tunes from new record 'Quicken The Heart'.

They took to the stage at just after 7pm (BST) to be met with a huge crowd who were in full voice throughout.

Closer 'Our Velocity' saw the ever-perky T In The Park crowd belt the chorus back to the blue suit-clad Smith, who spent the set showing off his dance moves and shimmying around the Main Stage.

During the low-key 'Acrobat', Smith took out his little black book of lyrics to read them aloud, while during the intro to 'Books From Boxes' he let the gathered punters sing his verses without him.
