Maximo Park to play intimate charity fundraiser tomorrow (July 21) Maximo Park Tickets
Band set to headline Newcastle's Cluny in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust

Maximo Park have announced that they will be playing an intimate gig in their hometown of Newcastle on Thursday (July 21) to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The band, who are currently in the process of writing and recording their fourth studio album, which is due to be released on January 21, will headline Newcastle's 300 capacity Cluny venue with all proceeds going to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Singer Paul Smith said of the show:
Since we’re hard at work on our fourth album, those who make it down will bear witness to our only Newcastle show this year. We thought it would be good if we could donate any proceeds from the gig to the Teenage Cancer Trust who help people in the RVI [Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary], our local hospital.
Tickets for the gig will not be going on general sale and will only be available on the door at the venue from 12pm on the day of the gig itself.
The band have only revealed a scheduled release date for the follow-up to their 2009 third album 'Quicken The Heart', with no song titles or album details available as yet.
