Mazzy Star unveil 'California' video ahead of next week's new album release - watch

Cult band's first album in 17 years is set for release this Monday (September 23)

Mazzy Star have unveiled the video for their new song 'California'. Watch it below.

'California' is taken from the band's forthcoming album 'Seasons Of Your Day', their first in 17 years, which comes out in the UK on Monday (September 23). The album follows their debut 1990 debut 'She Hangs Brightly', 1993's 'So Tonight That I Might See' and 1996's 'Among My Swan'.

Opening up about the band's comeback album last month (August), one half of Mazzy Star's core duo David Roback revealed: "We never stopped writing or recording. We just stopped performing and releasing things."

Mazzy Star - whose other central member is Hope Sandoval (pictured above) - will begin a North American tour in support of their new album on November 3. European dates are expected to be announced soon.
