KICK OUT THE JAMS (AGAIN)!

And they will be joined by another legend...

KICK OUT THE JAMS (AGAIN)!

Legendary rockers THE MC5 are to play a one-off show in LONDON next year alongside sonic jazz phenomenon SUN RA ARKESTRA.

The show will take place at the Royal Festival Hall on February 25. To get tickets go to rfh.org.uk.

For the Royal Festival Hall, MC5 original members Michael Davis on bass, Wayne Kramer on guitar and Dennis Thompson on drums, vocals are provided by Lisa Kekaula of The Bellrays and Basement Jaxx fame.

Davis, Kramer and Thompson now call the band dkt/MC5 as a mark of respect to differentiate it from the original line-up, which also featured the late Rob Tyner and Fred 'Sonic' Smith.

The MC5 were one of the most controversial bands of the 1960s, riding a wave of notoriety after releasing their seminal debut, 'Kick Out The Jams'. Their radical views and uncompromising revolutionary ideals meant that they briefly became the faces of a generation intent on political and social change.
