Michael Davis involved in motorcycle accident
MC5 bassist Michael Davis has been hospitalised following a motorcycle accident.
The musician was riding his Harley-Davidson in Pasadena earlier this week (May 8) when he hit a muffler on the road, according to his wife Angela.
Davis has a fractured spine amongst other injuries including bruised ribs and will have to wear a back brace for six weeks.
As reported by Associated Press, Angela said that her husband was wearing a helmet, goggles and leather jacket at the time of the accident.
Davis currently plays in a version of MC5 with former bandmates Wayne Kramer and Dennis Thompson, called DKT.
