Meat Loaf is set to release a new album, 'Hell In A Handbasket', on February 27.

The album will feature a guest appearance from Public Enemy's Chuck D, who appears on a cover version of Tom Cochrane's 1991 track 'Mad Mad World'. Of his appearance, Meat Loaf has said:

Chuck D is the rapper's rapper. He is the original, and every rapper that has come after him wants to be like him. For us to have him on this record is a major coup and I am so impressed with what he wrote!

Meat Loaf added that the album is "the most personal record I've ever made. It's about how I feel the world's gone to hell in a handbasket. It's really the first record that I've ever put out about how I feel about life and how I feel about what's going on at the moment."

The album, which also features a cover of The Mamas and The Papas's 'California Dreamin'', was produced by Paul Crook. Rapper Lil Jon appears on the track 'Stand In the Storm'.

'Hell In A Handbasket' is Meat Loaf's 12th studio album.

The 'Hell In A Handbasket' tracklisting is:

'All Of Me'
'Fall From Grace'
'The Giving Tree'
'Mad Mad World'/'Good God Is A Woman And She Don’t Like Ugly'
'Party Of One'
'Live Or Die'
'California Dreamin''
'Another Day'
'40 Days'
'Out Love & Our Souls'
'Stand In The Storm'
'Blue Sky'
