Merchandise have premiered a new, self-directed short film called Rush Of Blood - scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to watch.

The Florida punk band made the film while working on their most recent album 'Totale Night' - which was released in March of this year - and the trippy short includes scenes of frontman Carson Cox shaving his head and showering, spliced with surreal scenes including a slug being doused in salt.

Speaking about the film, Merchandise said: "Rush of Blood is an attempt at carrying over visual themes explored on the record (anxiety, mental fog, the elephant in the room). It was shot and edited in a style that is meant to reveal something to the viewer by its invisibility and hidden meaning. Special thanks goes to Chris Swanson, Darius Van Arman, and Shawn Reed for their help in making this video happen. Styling by Aldo Padaldo."

Merchandise are set to play an intimate NME Radar gig at The Great Escape in Brighton next week. They'll play a late night set at The Haunt next Friday (May 17) alongside two extremely special guests at the tiny venue.

The likes of Charlie Boyer and The Voyeurs, Parquet Courts and Temples will also play NME Radar shows at the festival. To check the availability of The Great Escape tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0844 858 6765.
